UGC NET Admit Card 2025: National Testing Agency released the UGC NET 2025 admit card for all the exam dates on the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates are advised to download their admit card along with their undertaking from the official portal by using their login credentials and carefully read the instructions mentioned in the hall ticket. In case a candidate find difficulty in downloading the hall ticket or discrepancy in the particulars contained therein, can contact the NTA helpdesk at 011-40759000 or write to ugcnet@nta.ac.in.

Earlier, the NTA released the UGC NET Dec city intimation slip 2025. The NTA UGC NET exam for the December session exam dates are from December 31 to January 7, 2026. What to Do In Case of Discrepancy in UGC NET Admit Card?

In case, a candidate is not able to download his/her admit card or there is any discrepancy in the particulars given on the admit card, s/he should call the following helpline number of the NTA - 011-40759000. Candidates can call on these numbers on working days from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. 

In case of any error on the UGC NET admit card, the official website of the exam informs, “In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later.”

UGC NET Exam Day Instructions & Documents to Carry

The National Testing Agency will conduct the UGC NET December examination 2025 for 85 subjects in computer based test (CBT) mode at various centres across the country. Candidates can check below the exam day instructions as mentioned on the admit card.

  • Do not forget to carry the admit card along with the following documents:
    • One passport-size photo (same as uploaded on the application form)
    • PwD certificate, if applicable
    • One original authorised photo ID (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card)
  • Appear for UGC NET only at the exam centre mentioned on the admit card
  • Appear for UGC NET only as per the date, shift, and time mentioned on the admit card 
  • Do not carry a mobile phone, calculator, or any other gadget to the exam hall
  • Do not carry any eatables or water to the exam centre
  • Must wear a face mark

No. Candidate must possess a Master's degree with  a minimum of 55% grade score average from a UGC recognised university to apply for the NTA UGC NET exam. Also, if she or he is in the final year of their Master's programme or hold a four year bachelor's degree in specific subjects.
