UGC NET 2025 Day 2 June 26 Shift 1 Exam

UGC NET 2025 Day 2 Shift 1 Exam: The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2025 enters Day 2 today, June 26, with Shift 1 being conducted in the morning session. A total of 13 subjects are scheduled for this shift, including Arab Culture and Islamic Studies, Bengali, Chinese, Computer Science and Applications, Persian, Rajasthani, Russian, Social Work, Home Science, Music, Population Studies, and Forensic Science. The exam is being held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at designated centres across the country.

Exam Day Instructions for UGC NET 2025 June 26 Shift 1

Candidates must follow these important guidelines to ensure a smooth experience on Day 2 of the exam:

• Shift Timing: Shift 1 will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Candidates are advised to report at least 90 minutes prior to the start time to complete frisking and verification formalities.
• Mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, electronic gadgets, stationery items, bags, and eatables are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
• Admit Card printout and Government-issued photo ID, A passport-size photograph (same as on the application form)
• Transparent water bottle and basic stationery (if permitted for paper-based subjects)

UGC NET 2025 Shift 1 Exam Pattern 

UGC NET 2025 consists of two papers:

• Paper I: General Teaching and Research Aptitude (50 questions, 100 marks)
• Paper II: Subject-specific (100 questions, 200 marks)
• Both papers are conducted in a single three-hour session without a break.
