Reduced Syllabus of JEE Main 2021

JEE Main 2021 syllabus: There is a confusion among JEE Main 2021 aspirants is that either they have to study as per the reduced syllabus of boards or to cover the entire syllabus of JEE Main. So to clarify, the Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank” himself announced that JEE Main 2021 syllabus has not been reduced. However, there will be a change in the JEE Main 2021 exam pattern.

So students must note here that the only the syllabus of CBSE of Classes 9 to 12 has been reduced by 30% only for the academic year 2020-21. It has also been clarified that the reduction in the syllabus is done while retaining the core concepts. Since JEE Main syllabus consists of topics from both Class 11 and 12, many students have been asking a question, will JEE Main 2021 syllabus be reduced? The curiosity among the students on what will be the JEE Main syllabus 2021 has been caused due to the reduction of CBSE board syllabus.

Will JEE Main 2021 Syllabus be reduced?

The National Testing Agency has not reduced JEE Main 2021 syllabus. However, due to the reduction og CBSE board syllabus for the academic year 2020-21 has caused the change of JEE Main 2021 exam pattern as its syllabus consists of topics from Class 11 and 12. As per the changes introduced in the exam pattern of JEE Main 2021, each Subject will have two sections. Section-A will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. There will be 20 questions in Section-A and 10 in Section-B. Candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10 questions in Section-B. There will be no negative marking for Section B.
