CDS Notification 2025: The Union Public Service Commission will release the notification and application form of CDS 1 2025 tomorrow: December 11, 2024. Candidates can download the CDS 1 notification pdf at the official website: upsc.gov.in. They can also fill up the CDS 1 application form 2025 online by visiting the official website only. The last date to complete CDS 1 application form is December 31, 2024.

As per the dates announced earlier, CDS 1 2025 is scheduled to be held on April 13. The Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam is a national-level entrance examination which is held twice a year. It is conducted to recruit officers for the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. 

How to fill CDS 1 2025 Application Form?

The CDS application form is released along with the notification at the official website. Candidates must note CDS 1 application form 2025 can only be filled in online mode. No offline forms will be accepted. They can check the steps provided below to know to fill up the CDS 1 application form:

Step 1: Visit the official website: upsc.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on CDS I Application Link

Step 3: Now, click on ‘Apply Online’ tab followed by the ‘One Time Registration (OTR) for Examinations of UPSC’ option

Step 4: Click on the new registration option and complete the process

Step 5: Further, log in using the generated credentials

Step 5: Now, select the exam name

Step 6: Fill out the CDS 2025 application form, upload the documents and pay the registration fee

Step 7: Submit the online form and take a printout of it

Do Candidates need to submit a hard copy of CDS 1 2025 Application Form?

Candidates do not need to submit a hard copy of the CDS application form to the UPSC, as the entire process is conducted online. Upon completing and submitting the CDS 1 form, applicants will receive an acknowledgement containing their roll number, application ID, and exam centre details, which should be kept for reference. It is crucial to fill out the form accurately and ensure all required documents, including photographs and signatures, are uploaded in the prescribed format to avoid rejection.
