UGC NET 2025 Notification: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the official notification for UGC NET 2025 soon. While the exact release date of the UGC NET notification 2025 is yet to be confirmed by the NTA, based on previous trends, it is likely to be out in April or early May 2025. Candidates will be able to download the UGC NET 2025 notification online from the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Candidates with a four-year bachelor's degree in any stream or a master's degree are eligible for UGC NET 2025 June session. For the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), applicants must be 30 years or younger. The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is a national-level exam held to determine eligibility for academic and research careers.

UGC NET 2025 Updates

The UGC NET is conducted twice a year: June and December and the June 2025 cycle is now on the horizon. Once the UGC NET notification is released, it will include the below-mentioned details:

UGC NET 2025 Exam Pattern

The UGC NET comprises two papers:

  • Paper I: Common to all candidates, tests teaching/research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension, and general awareness.
  • Paper II: Subject-specific, based on the candidate's chosen field (e.g., Political Science, Economics, English, Commerce, etc.)

Both papers are conducted in a single three-hour session in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. There is no negative marking, making accuracy and time management crucial.
