SSC has delayed the release of SSC Stenographer 2020-21 notification. Earlier, the notification and application form was scheduled to be released on August 4. The notification is expected to be announced soon.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has delayed the release of SSC Stenographer 2020-21 notification. Earlier, the notification and application form was scheduled to be released on August 4. The last date of application was September 3, 2020. However, SSC did not release the notification. They even did not publish any official notice regarding the delay in the release of notification. The notification is expected to be released soon.
According to SSC Calendar 2020, the Computer Based Test (CBT) is scheduled to be conducted from December 1 to 3. As the notification has been delayed, there are chances that the exam dates will be postponed.
SSC Stenographer 2020 application form can be filled online. The application fees are Rs 100 for General and OBC candidates. SC, ST, women and ESM candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board or university can apply for the exam. The age limit for SSC Stenographer Grade C is 18 to 30 years. The age limit for SSC Stenographer Grade D is 18 to 27 years.
SSC Stenographer exam is conducted for recruitment of Stenographer Grade C (Group B Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade D (Group C) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. Candidates are selected based on Computer Based Test and Skill Test.
