Overview

IBPS Exam: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) announced IBPS Calendar 2026 released on January 16. The calendar mentions the prelims and mains exam dates for PO, Clerk, SO and RRB. Going through the calendar will help candidates to prepare for the exam.

IBPS 2025 Exams

IBPS PO & SO final results were announced on January 15. Along with the result, the cut off marks for both the exams have been announced. This year, the results were announced early due to the recent reform done by the Finance Ministry in the bank recruitment process. IBPS Clerk final result 2025 will also be announced soon. IBPS RRB Clerk prelims result 2025 is expected anytime soon. 

IBPS exam dates 2025 for PO, Clerk, RRB, and SO have been revised. According to the IBPS revised Calendar 2025-26, IBPS Clerk prelims exam was conducted on October 4, 5, and 11, 2025. The mains exam was conducted on November 29, 2025. IBPS PO 2025 prelims exam was conducted on August 17, 23, and 24, 2025. The mains exam was conducted on October 12, 2025. 

IBPS RRB PO 2025 prelims exam was conducted on November 22 and 23, 2025. The preliminary exam of IBPS RRB 2025 for Office Assistant was conducted on December 5, 7, 13 and 14, 2025.  The mains exam for IBPS RRB PO 2025 was conducted on December 28, 2025. The mains exam for IBPS RRB Clerk was conducted on February 1, 2025. The single online exam as per IBPS RRB Exam Dates was conducted on December 28, 2025. 

The prelims exam for IBPS SO 2025 was conducted on August 30, 2025. The mains exam for IBPS SO 2025 was conducted on November 9, 2025.

IBPS Cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure in order to qualify for the exam. IBPS decides section-wise and overall cutoff marks. To qualify for each stage of the selection process, candidates need to score the IBPS cutoff marks.

Q:   When IBPS RRB 2026 application form will be released?
A: 

IBPS RRB 2026 application form will be released in September. Interested candidates are required to fill the application form online. The application fee is INR 850 for General and OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWD categories. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of their application forms. IBPS RRB application form is released to fill up vacancies for the posts of Officers Scale 1, 2, 3 and Office Assistant. Before filling the application form, candidates must ascertain that they fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by the examination authority for IBPS RRB exam.

Q:   Is there any probation period for IBPS PO?
A: 

Yes, candidates selected for the post of IBPS PO will be on probation for two years. During probation, the performance of candidates is assessed. They need to undergo training in the various branches. On successful completion of training, candidates are confirmed to the position of Probationary Officers. During the probation period, candidates are trained on various banking services. They are also required to undergo certain banking courses. The basic salary of IBPS PO is INR 48,480. Besides the salary, candidates are also entitled to various perks and benefits.

Q:   When IBPS Clerk 2025 exam was conducted?
A: 

 The mains exam was conducted on November 29. Last year, the post of IBPS Clerk was remained to Customer Service Associates. The selection process of IBPS Clerk prelims exam and Mains exam.

A: 

IBPS RRB exam notification was released on September 1. The notification was released in PDF form. It comprised points related to the exam. Candidates must read the notification before applying.
