NDA 2 Notification 2026 OUT (May 20): Download UPSC NDA/NA II Official Notification PDF Here

NDA 2 notification was issued on May 20 for admission of eligible candidates to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy Course. Before applying to the exam, candidates are required to check NDA latest notification so that candidates can get an overview of the exam. Both male and female candidates can apply for NDA examination. The selection of eligible males & females is done through written Examination and SSB interviews. UPSC NDA official notification is released in PDF form on the official website. Candidates are advised to check the notification carefully before applying for the exam.

NDA 2 application form dates were May 20 to June 11. Online applications are accepted for the exam. Candidates need to pay the application fees online only. The Commission has not released the application correction dates yet. It will be released in the official notification. The candidates need UPSC One Time Registration number to fill out the NDA form. The candidates are suggested to read and understand all the eligibility conditions mentioned in the official NDA notification.

How to apply for NDA 2 Application Form 2026?

Candidates can check below the methods to apply for the UPSC NDA application form:

• Visit at UPSC Online Application Portal upsconline.nic.in

• On homepage, scroll down to Account Creation section for new candidates

• Register by entering email ID, mobile number and other details

• Verify email and mobile number, create a password and submit

• Once account is created, log in with Registered email ID and password or Registered mobile number and OTP or Universal Registration Number and password

• Pay fee via Debit or Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking

• Select preferred exam centre 

• Review and confirm all details, then submit form

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will announce the test centres of the NDA 2 exam 2026 along with the official notification PDF on the official website at upsc.gov.in. The NDA exam will be conducted in more than 70 cities. The NDA admit card consists of the details about the allotted test city and address of the examination centres.The list of NDA exam centres is given below.

NDA exam pattern is divided into the written exam and SSB Interview. The written exam comprises two papers: Paper I is Mathematics and Paper II is the General Ability Test (GAT). Each paper will be for 2 ½ hours. According to NDA exam pattern, the maximum mark of the test is 900.

The SSB Interview comprises two stages. Stage I comprise Officer Intelligence Rating tests and Picture Perception and Description Test. Stage 2 comprises Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference. The total marks of SSB Interview are 900.

NDA Marking Scheme

The marking scheme of NDA exam is given below.

NDA salary during the entire duration of training in Service academies is INR 56,100. After the successful training, the NDA salary of the Officer Commissioned will be fixed in the first Cell of Level 10. The salary structure of the NDA consists of several details  including basic pay, grade pay, allowances, deductions, gross salary, net salary, etc. The period of training will not be treated as commissioned service and arrears on account of admissible allowances (as applicable) for the training period will be paid to cadets. Those candidates who will be selected will undergo for the training period of three years for three services including Army, Navy and Air Force at the National Defence Academy. The officers of the NDA will receive the salary benefits during the training period.
