SBI Dates 2025: The authority released the SBI Clerk Prelims result 2025 on November 4. The exam dates for SBI Clerk 2025 are mentioned in the notification. The preliminary exam of SBI Clerk was conducted on September 20, 21, 27, and 28, 2025. SBI JA examination for mains will be conducted on November 15 & 16, 2025. 

SBI PO 2025

The authority released SBI PO admit card 2025 for Psychometric Test. The test will be held on November 19. The Group Exercises and Interview will be held from November 24 to 30. The SBI PO prelims exam was held on August 4, 2025. The SBI PO notification was released on June 24, 2025. The last date to apply was July 14, 2025.  The mains exam of SBI PO 2025 was conducted on May 5, 2025.

Q:   What is the process after being selected as SBI PO?
A: 

On joining, the selected candidates will be designated as Probationary Officers and may be on probation for two years. They will be subjected to continuous assessment, as per Bank’s extant policy, during the probation period. Those candidates who qualify in the assessment as per standards determined by the Bank from time to time, will be confirmed in the Service of the Bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).

Q:   In how many shifts SBI PO exam is conducted?
A: 

The prelims exam of SBI PO is conducted in four shifts while the Mains exam is conducted in two shifts. SBI PO prelims shift timings are 9 AM to 10 AM, 11.30 am to 12.30 pm, 2 pm to 3 pm and 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm. SBI PO Mains exam timings are 2 pm to 3 pm and 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The details regarding the shift timings are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to appear for the exam as per their exam slots. The exam timings for prelims and mains exam are given below.

Notification: It is made available in PDF form. The notification PDF contains details such as the application form, vacancies, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, etc. 
 
Application Form: Registration form is released online. It consists of registration, uploading the documents, filling out the detailed application form, preview, and fee payment. The application fee is INR 750 for the General and OBC categories, however, SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS candidates are exempted from paying the application fees. The application fees can be paid online only.
 
Admit Card: Hall ticket is issued separately for different stages of exam. Candidates can access SBI admit card online by logging with the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The hard copy of the call letter is not sent to candidates by post. 
 
Appearing in SBI exam: Exam comprises different stages. SBI exam for clerical cadre includes prelims and mains exam. The exam for PO & SO comprises prelims, mains, and interview. The exam is conducted online across various cities in the country. 
 
Declaration of Result: Result is announced online. SBI scorecard is made available in PDF form, it displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates. The scorecard is released after the declaration of the result.

Q:   What is SBI PO Salary?
A: 

The starting basic is INR 41,960 (with 4 advance increments). Candidates are also eligible for DA, HRA/Lease rental, CCA. Candidates also get Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. In-hand salary ranges between INR 52,000 to 55,000 per month. SBI PO pay scale is INR 36,000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840. Candidates are selected to the post of  Junior Management Grade Scale-I. Selected candidates are required to sign a bond of INR 2 lakh, Candidates are required to serve the bank for a minimum period of three years. The officers will be on probation for two years. Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the prelims exam, mains exam, psychometric test, group exercises and interview.

Q:   In how many shifts SBI Clerk exam is conducted?
A: 

The prelims exam of SBI Clerk is conducted in four shifts. The Mains exam is conducted in two shifts. The prelims exam carries 100 marks. The mains exam is held for 200 marks. Candidates need to prepare well inorder to clear the exam.

SBI Clerk 2026 application form will be released online. It consists of several parts including registration, uploading of scanned photo and sign, completing the application form, uploading the handwritten declaration and left thumb impression and paying the fees. The fees for the exam is INR 750 for the General and OBC categories. SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS categories are exempted from fee payment. 

Q:   Is 60% necessary for SBI PO?
A: 

It is not necessary to secure 60 per cent in graduation inorder to be eligible for SBI PO exam. For the SBI PO eligibility percentage, candidates with less than 60% in their graduation are also eligible to take the SBI PO exam. The State Bank of India prescribes no minimum percentage in Graduation for the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) exam. Candidates must be graduates of any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
