JEE Main Answer Key 2026 Session 2:Â NTA will release the JEE Mains 2026 answer key for session 2 on April 11. Candidates will be able to check their answer key to find the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam and estimate their performance before the exam. The authorities will also open the challenge window for the JEE Main provisional answer key on the same day. NTA will review all objections before publishing the final answer key on or before the JEE Main session 2 results.

How to Download NTA JEE Mains 2026 Answer Key?
Candidates can check how to download the JEE Mains answer keys 2026 below:
- Visit the official JEE Main website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click the JEE Main 2026 answer key link.
- On the new window, candidates can see the JEE Main 2026 login. Use your JEE Main application number and password to login.
- Under the login, the answer key, with responses and questions, will be available.
- Download it and take a printout for future reference.
Using the JEE Mains marking scheme, candidates can calculate the raw marks in the exam. However, the ranking will be based on percentile score.

NTA will release the JEE Mains response sheet with the answer keys for session 2 under the login of the candidates. The JEE Main 2026 response sheet has the answers marked by the candidates on the exam day. The response sheet of JEE Main is a replica of the answers that the candidates mark on the exam day.
Using the JEE Main response sheet 2026, candidates can compare their answers with the correct answers given on the JEE Main answer keys. This will give the candidates the number of correct and incorrect answers they have marked in the exam.

To download the JEE Main response sheet, candidates have to follow the process below:

How to Challenge JEE Main 2026 Answer Key Session 2?
Candidates not satisfied with the answers mentioned in JEE Main 2026 provisional answer key can raise objections through their login. Check the process below to challenge the JEE Main answer key 2026:
- Visit the official JEE Main 2026 website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.
- Click âAnswer Key Challenge for JEE Main 2026 Session 2â.
- Login with your Application Number and Password, enter the Security PIN as displayed and submit.
- Click âChallenge(s) regarding Answer Keyâ.
- You will see the Question IDs for JEE Main 2026.
- The ID next to the question under the column âCorrect Optionâ stands for the most appropriate answer key by NTA.
- If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.
- You may upload supporting documents, for which you can select âChoose File and Upload (all documents to be put in a single PDF file).
- After clicking your desired option, for Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), Mathematics / Aptitude Test for Paper 2A (B.Arch.), and Mathematics / Aptitude Test / Planning for Paper 2B (B.Planning), scroll down and âSave your claimâ and move on to the next screen.
- You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged.
- Click on âSave your claim and Pay Fee finallyâ.
- Select the mode of payment and pay a non-refundable processing fee.
JEE Main answer key challenge fees: Candidates need to pay a processing fee of INR 200 per question using credit/debit card/Net banking/UPI/PAYTM service. The fee is non-refundable. However, if the challenge is approved by NTA, the fee is refunded.
How to Calculate Score Using JEE Mains 2026 Session 2 Answer Key?
Candidates can know their expected JEE Main marks using response sheet and answer key released by NTA. To calculate score, they need to notedown their correct and incorrect answers as per NTA answer key and response sheet. Alott 4 marks for every correct and 1 marks for incorrect answers. The sum obtained upon subtracting total of incorrect answers from correct answers will be candidates marks in exam.Â

JEE Mains April Exam Final Answer Key 2026
The final JEE Mains answer key, released after reviewing the objections submitted by the candidates, will be used to calculate the result/score of the candidates. The final answer key is not subject to the candidates' challenge/submission of grievances. Note that the answers given on the final answer keys will be used for preparing the results of JEE Main 2026.
To download the the JEE Mains final keys, candidates have to visit the official website, and the final answer key PDF will be available on the home page. No login will be needed to doenload the final keys.
The NTA JEE final keys will also have the details of dropped questions. For each dropped question, all candidates of that particular shift will get +4 bonus marks.
