Note: Candidates must take printout of e-admit card on a A4 size paper. The admit card of VIT exam must have a watermark on it.

VITEEE Exam Hall Instructions

Once the verification and biometric process is completed, candidates are allotted a system to attempt test. Applicants are monitored throughout the exam time. It is strictly instructed that, students are not allowed to sit idle for more than 20 minutes and will be closely monitored by the invigilator. In addition, students will not be allowed to leave before the end of exam time. Overall, candidates have to maintain discipline and follow VITEEE exam hall instructions as issued by the authorities.

VITEEE Exam Result: Steps to download, Validity

VIT Vellore will announce result online after the exam. The tentative date is 2nd week of May 2026. The VITEEE result will be prepared based on the percentile secured in exam. Candidates can check their qualifying status at VIT 2026 candidate login using their application number and password.

NOTE:

VIT uses normalisation procedure based on percentile score to calculate scores.
VITEEE scorecard is valid for one year only.
There will be no re-evaluation/re-totalling/re-ranking once results are declared.

VITEEE 2026 Counselling

VIT BTech counselling 2026 is the last stage of the admission process. VITEEE counselling will begin after the declaration of results. Candidates who have qualified can participate in counselling process. Through counselling, students will be offered admission to VIT Vellore/AP/Chennai/Bhopal campuses based on their test performance.

To participate in counselling, students will have to pay a non-refundable counselling fee of INR 5900/- (which will be remitted on declaration of results)
Counselling will be done in five phases and is common for all VIT group of institutions.

Stages of Counselling

First, candidates have to register by paying a non-refundable amount of INR 5900/-
Then they have to fill their course choices and campuses according to their preferences.
Based on submitted choices and seat availability, the authorities will publish VITEEE seat allotment result on the official website.

VITEEE seat allotment will be done according to candidate's rank, preferences, category, and availability of seats. After allotment, the admission has to be confirmed before final date.
