SSC CGL tier-II 2019 exam is scheduled to commence tomorrow, September 11. Check important SSC CGL exam day instructions below.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct SSC CGL tier-II 2019 exam from September 11-14. The exam will be conducted in online mode as a computer-based test (CBT) at different test centres across the country.

The commission has recently released an important notice for all the candidates appearing for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) - tier-II. In the notice, the commission has advised all candidates to carry an original photo ID proof to the allotted exam centre. The photo ID card should carry the date of birth of candidates as printed on their SSC CGL admit card. The official notification released by SSC reads, “If the photo identity card does not have the date of birth then the candidate must carry an additional certificate, in original, as proof of date of birth.”      

In case, the date of birth mentioned on the admit card and ID card mismatches, the candidature of such candidates will be cancelled and they will not be allowed to sit for the paper.

SSC CGL 2019 – Important exam day instructions

Listed below are some of the important instructions that candidates must follow to avoid any last minute hassle on the day of SSC CGL tier-II exam:

  • Candidates must reach the allotted SSC CGL exam centre at least half an hour before the reporting time
  • Candidates should carry a pen/pencil and blank sheet to the exam centre for rough work (if required)
  • Candidates should not carry any study material or electronic gadgets such as calculator and watch inside the examination hall
  • Candidates should not forget to carry the SSC CGL admit card 2019 and photo ID proof (having date of birth printed) to the test centre
  • Along with the admit card and photo ID card, candidates are also advised to carry two passport size photos to the exam centre
