UGC NET December 2023 Application Deadline Extended; Last Date to Apply Oct 31

UGC NET 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) extended the application form deadline to October 31, 2023, from October 28, 2023, on October 27, 2023. The candidates can apply and pay the application feed for the UGC NET December cycle till October 31, 2023. The application correction date has also been extended along with the application dates. Now, the candidates will be able to make corrections to the application form from November 1 to 3, 2023. 

How to Apply for the UGC NET 2023 Exam?

The candidates can apply for the UGC NET exam by following the steps given below:

• Go to the official website  
• Click on the UGC NET December Cycle application link  
• Click on the registration tab  
• Fill out the details asked in the application form  
• Continue filling out the application form  
• Choose payment method  
• Make payment for the UGC NET exam application  
• Download the application for future use  

Corrections Allowed in the UGC NET Online Form

Along with the extension of application dates, the NTA also released the guidelines to make corrections in the UGC NET online form. The candidates can check the correction that othey can make in the application form. UGC NET application form particulars in which candidates can make corrections if required include:

• Personal details
• Choice for exam centre
• Educational details
• Scanned photo and signature

Candidates can make corrections in any of the particulars of the online application form, excluding the following fields:

For candidates who have verified Aadhaar Card	No change allowed in the mobile number, email address, permanent address & correspondence address No change allowed in candidate’s name, date of birth and gender No change is allowed in the photo Change is allowed either in the father’s name or mother’s name (anyone only)
For candidates who have not verified the Aadhaar for modification	No change allowed in the mobile number, email address, permanent address & correspondence address No change is allowed in the photo Change is allowed either in the candidate’s name or father’s name or mother’s name (anyone only)
