UGC NET notification for December 2019 and June 2020 has been released by NTA. Here we list all important details regarding NTA UGC NET exam.

The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor. Candidates qualifying the UGC NET exam are eligible to apply at colleges and universities across India.

The teaching eligibility test is conducted twice a year in the months of June and December. Currently, UGC NET notification for December 2019 and June 2020 exams has been released on the official website of NTA. Here is all candidates need to know about the UGC NET exam.

UGC NET exam pattern

The UGC NET exam consists of two papers (paper-I and II) that candidates need to complete in a duration of three hours. The exam is conducted online and contains a total of 150 objective questions. Highest marks that candidates can score in the exam is 350.

No. A candidate will not receive the UGC NET City Intimation Slip by post. The authority will release the City slip on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates required their login credentials to download the city slip including the application number and date of birth.
