SSC CGL 2026: The Commission is likely to release the SSC CGL Notification 2026 on March 31 on the official website at ssc.gov.in. The notification will be announced in the form of PDF and consists of the detailed information regarding the exam including the vacancies, application process, selection process, syllabus, pattern, important dates, etc. Along with the SSC CGL notification, the application process will also start. Candidates will get a particular time frame to fill out the SSC CGL application form online. Also, the authority will announce the vacancies post and category-wise along with the notification. Last year, 14582 vacancies were released. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is likely to be conducted in May or June 2026. SSC CGL Tie Resolution
The Commission can change the SSC CGL Tie Resolution formula with a simple notice. The candidates should note that the Commission will release the SSC CGL Tie-Resolution formula in the official notification as well in the result pdf. The Commission will also release the SSC CGL Cutoff in a format that will help in arriving at the Tie-Resolution.
The Commission mentioned the principle for the resolution of Tie cases among the candidates in the official notification. The Commission reiterates it in the final result pdf. In the event of tie scores of candidates in Tier 2, merit will be decided by applying the following criteria, one after another in the order, till the tie is resolved:
- Marks scored in Paper-II & Paper-III of Tier-II Examination for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer, respectively, if applicable.
- Marks scored in Section-I of Paper-I of Tier-II Examination.
- Date of birth, with the older candidates, placed higher.
- Alphabetical order in which the names of the candidates appear
SSC CGL Cutoff 2026
The Staff Selection Commission released the Combined Graduate Level Cutoff along with the results. The Commission releases the post-wise SSC CGL cutoff. The Commission will release category-wise cutoff and the number of candidates available under each category for the next stage of recruitment.

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC Combined Graduate Level examination official notification in March 31, 2026 (tentatively). The Commission will also release the SSC CGL application form for the candidates on its official website - ssc.gov.in. - Click on the 'New User? Register Now 'link.
- Fill the SSC CGL registration form.
- Log in to the registered account using the registration number (generated at the time of registration) and password (set at the time of registration).

- Upload scanned images of photos and signatures and other important documents, if applicable.

Nationality Requirement for SSC CGL Exam
To Join the Indian Bureaucracy, the candidates must belong to India. As per the official notification, A candidate must be a citizen of India, a person of Indian origin, a subject of Nepal/Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee.
SSC CGL Age Limit
