JEE Main: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main city intimation slip 2026 for the session 2 exam. The exact dates for the session 2 exam have also been announced along with city slip. As per the JEE Mains exam date 2026, the session 2 exam dates are April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8, for Paper 1 and April 7 for Paper 2. The JEE Mains 2026 session 2 admit card will be released 3 to 4 days before the exam dates.

JEE Mains exam is held to shortlist candidates for admission to UG engineering, architecture and planning courses at NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. It is one of the most competitive and important engineering entrance exams in India taken by over by 10 to 12 lakh students annually. NTA conducts JEE Mains exam twice a year, in January and April, in computer-based test mode. The top 2.5 lakh candidates from JEE Mains also qualify for JEE Advanced exam which is the gateway to premier engineering institutions - Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
