The National Testing Agency has been entrusted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to conduct the NTA CSIR NET exam to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) in Indian universities and colleges. Candidates should keep the documents ready as mentioned below before filling out the CSIR NET application form:

• Copy of Board or University Certificate for Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name and Date of Birth
• Identification – Bank A/c passbook with photograph/ Passport Number/ Ration Card/ Aadhaar Card Number/Voter ID Card Number/ Other Govt ID
• Qualifying Degree Certificate or last semester marks sheet
• Category Certificate, if applicable
• Self-Declaration Minority Community Certificate, if applicable
• Scanned Candidate’s photograph and signature in running hand in JPG/JPEG format only
• Result Awaited Certificate, if applicable
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate, if applicable
• Person with Disability (PwD) Certificate, if applicable

• First, candidates should register on the NTA official website by providing the valid email and mobile number.

• Pay the application fee online and save the transaction receipt.
• Before the final submission, preview the CSIR NET application form.

• Choose any one option - security question/answer or verification code sent on mobile or reset link sent via email

• Visit at csirnet.nta.nic.in
• Click on the application form correction tab at the bottom of the page
• Log in to the registered account using the application number and password
• Read the instructions carefully and click on the ‘I Agree’ checkbox
• Make the required changes in the application form
• Click on the Submit button
• Verify the entered details carefully
• Click on the checkboxes under the ‘Parameters checklist to be verified’ header
• Click on the checkbox for the declaration
• Click on the Final Submit button
• ake a printout of the revised confirmation page

Note: Since application form correction is a one-time facility, no candidate will be allowed to make corrections to the form under any circumstances after the facility closes. Therefore, candidates are advised to make corrections to the online form carefully.
