CSIR NET 2024 Dec Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will end the extended registration deadline for the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 session today: January 2 till 11.50 PM. Candidates who are yet to apply must fill out the CSIR UGC NET 2024 registration form online at the official website: csirnet.nta.ac.in. As per the notice issued on December 30, the CSIR NET Dec registration deadline extension is intended to accommodate more aspiring candidates.

They can pay the CSIR UGC NET application fee by January 3, 2025. Further, the NTA will open the correction window on January 4. The last date to make changes in CSIR UGC NET December 2024 application form is January 5, 2025. As per the schedule, the CSIR UGC NET exam will be held from February 16 to 28, 2025.

How to apply for CSIR NET December 2024?

While filling out the CSIR NET Dec session application form, candidates have to choose their preferred language, as the exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English. They can go through the steps provided below to know how to complete CSIR UGC NET application form online:

Step 1: Visit the official website: csirnet.nta.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click CSIR UGC NET December registration link

Step 3: Complete CSIR NET registration by entering all the required details

Step 4: Now, log in with the application number and password

Step 5: Fill up the CSIR NET 2024 application form, upload the scanned images and pay the application fees  

Step 6: Submit the CSIR NET form and take a printout of it

Without paying the CSIR NET registration fee, the application form will not be accepted online. The CSIR NET exam fee for those belonging to the general category is INR 1150, for general- EWS, OBC NCL, it is INR 600 and for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, or are third gender, the fee is INR 325.
