RRB NTPC Apply Online Link 2026: Application Status OUT for CEN No. 06/2025 and 07/2025

The application fee of RRB NTPC can be paid online only. The application fee for all candidates except the fee concession categories is INR 500 whereas it is INR 250 for PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class. The application fees is refunded to candidates once candidates appear in the CBT.

The RRB NTPC application form for the Graduate posts (CEN No. 06/2025) was released on October 21 and for Undergraduate level posts (CEN No. 07/2025) on October 28, 2025. The last date to apply online for the Graduate posts was November 27 (extended) and for the undergraduate post was December 4. 

Candidates should submit only one application for RRB NTPC exam. If candidates submit multiple application forms then their applications will be rejected. Candidates are required to apply online for the exam. The application fee for all candidates except the fee concession categories is INR 500 whereas it is INR 250 for PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class.

RRBs provide candidates with the facility to modify RRB NTPC application form. Candidates can modify the details entered in the application form online by paying the required modification fees. The process how candidates can modify the details entered in the application form are given below:

• Login using Registration Number and Password
• Pay modification fee through any of the modes available for actual examination fee payment. Ensure payment is done well within the date and time prescribed
• Click on the Modify Application‘ Button
• Proceed with the changes intended as per instructions given and submit the application. Preserve the print out of the latest application for record

Generally, the RRB NTPC exam for the Graduate posts is considered to be Easy to Moderate in difficulty level mainly for the CBT 1 and for CBT 2, it can be considered as Moderate to Tough.

After final submission of RRB NTPC application form, in case candidates wish to make minor changes in the application form other than RRB email and mobile number, can do so by paying the modification fee of INR 100. The modification fee is applicable to all candidates including fee concession categories and this fee is not refunded for any category. In case, candidates wish to change their communities (from SC/ST to your/OBC), they need to pay the difference in examination fee I. e. INR 250 in addition to the modification fee. Similarly, if a candidate is switching from Ex.SM/PwBD/Female/Transgender to your/OBC (NCL)/Non Ex.SM/Non PwBD/Male etc. , need to pay the difference in examination fee I. e. INR 250 in addition to the modification fee.

The application fees for the RRB NTPC exam can be paid online and offline. On completion of the application process, candidates are directed to the payment page to choose payment mode-Bank (Online Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan) or Post Office Challans as explained in Para 7 and complete the payment process. If there is a failure of online payments, candidates have to make another transaction. For those paying through offline mode, the payment confirmation may take two hours. In case of payment of fee through post office, the payment conformation may vary from 24 hours to 48 hours. The application fee for all candidates except the fee concession categories is INR 500 whereas it is INR 250 for PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class.

Candidates who appear in the first stage CBT are eligible for the refund of examination fee as per details. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories will be entitled to get a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. Whereas candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC categories receive a partial refund of their examination fees, which is INR 400 after deducting the bank charges. Candidates who do not wish to receive the refund in the account should provide the details of the beneficiary account in which they wish to receive the refund such as beneficiary name, account number, name of bank and IFSC Code in the application form.

At times due to the heavy load at the server, the application page takes time to load. Candidates should keep patience and retry after 15 minutes.

 

Candidates can submit only one application for RRB NTPC exam. Those submitting multiple applications are rejected from the recruitment process. Online applications are accepted for the exam. The fee can be paid online.

Candidates must upload the signature in RRB NTPC application form in correct format.  It is rejected due to the following reasons.

• Use of a non-white background
• Non-black ink for the signature
• Written in block or capital letters
• Unclear image

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe only can avail ‘Free Travel Authority’ (free Railway Pass). For availing the travel pass, candidates need to provide proper documents to the examination authority.

Candidates are required to verify the mobile number and email IDs after submitting the basic details. RRB NTPC application form needs to be filled online only. The application status is released after the same is over.

The undergraduate posts are Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, and Trains Clerk. RRB NTPC salary structure for undergraduate posts is given below. Junior Clerk cum Typist- INR 19,900 Accounts Clerk cum Typist-INR 19,900 Junior Time Keeper-INR 19,900 Trains Clerk-INR 19,900 Commercial cum Ticket Clerk-INR 21,700.

Aadhaar validation is required to ensure genuineness of candidature and to curb impersonation during exam. RRBs will not share Aadhaar details with any third party or use them for any purpose other than the objectives of RRB NTPC application form. The application form needs to be filled online only. Candidates must submit their applications within the prescribed deadline.

The reasons for rejection of the RRB NTPC application form are invalid photograph, wrong date of birth, incorrect details, multiple applications, etc. Candidates should enter the details carefully to avoid any rejection of the application form. Candidates should fill the RRB NTPC application form online only. The selected document in online application should be produced during the CBT, DV & ME etc.

Only online applications are accepted for the exam. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates.

Candidates can need to fill required details in the RRB NTPC application form correctly. They need to fulfill eligibility criteria. A total of 11558 vacancies were announced. The selection process comprises the certain stages.

This facility is available only to SC/ST candidates. While filling up online RRB NTPC application form, such candidates, should choose ‘Yes’ from the drop down under ‘Do you wish to avail free rail travel pass for the exam and fill up ‘Nearest Railway Station’. It is the responsibility of the candidates availing free travel authority to give the correct name of the Railway Station in online application, failing which their travel authority may get rejected while obtaining reservation. They are also required to upload their Caste Certificate. 

RRB NTPC age limit for candidates applying for the undergraduate level posts should be 18 to 33 years. The age limit for graduate-level posts is 18 to 36 years. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are given relaxation in the age limit as per government rule. Candidates must check the RRB NTPC age limit before applying for the exam inorder to ensure whether they are eligible or not. RRB NTPC age limit for graduate and undergraduate posts is given below.
