SSC CGL Recruitment 2026: The Staff Selection Commission opened the SSC CGL 2026 application window. The last date to apply was June 25, 2026. The SSC CGL Notification was released on May 21 and the application form link was also activated. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website or via direct link provided below. The last date to pay the application fee was June 26. The Commission opened the SSC CGL application form correction window from June 29 to July 1, 2026. A total of 12,256 vacancies are announced.

The Staff Selection Commission is expected to release the SSC CGL exam dates soon. It is expected that the Tier 1 eam will be conducted in August-September 2026 and Tier 2 eam in December 2026. The candidates should note that the SSC CGL admit card 2026 will be released four days before the exam date of the candidate.

The Staff Selection Commission activated the SSC CGL 2026 online application link with the official notification. SSC CGL Application 2026

Firstly, candidates need to fill out the SSC CGL application form on the official website of the Commission (ssc.nic.in). Candidates can fill out the SSC online form in two parts – registration and application. However, candidates who are already registered on the official website do not need to fill the registration form again. SSC CGL 2026 application fee is INR 100.

SSC CGL Application Status

SSC regional websites release the application status of the candidates to inform the acceptance or rejection of the SSC CGL application. The candidates need to check the application status to know their exam date.

SSC CGL Admit Card

SSC CGL admit card is released for each stage of the exam. Registered candidates can download the SSC CGL admit card from the official regional websites of the Commission. Candidates can download the admit card by entering the required login credentials in their registered account.

SSC CGL Tier 1 exam

SSC CGL tier-I is an online exam that contains objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It may be noted that going forward as the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) is set up, the SSC CGL Tier-I exam will be scrapped and NRA Common Eligibility Test (NRA CET) will be conducted in its place.

Yes, candidates can pay the application fee in offline mode through the SBI challan. The last date to submit the SSC CGL application fee offline is always one day after the fee submission date online. The Commission provides the opportunity to submit the application fee online also. The candidates should note that they are required to generate an offline fee payment challan from the official website of the SSC. The fee can be paid through this challan only.

Q:   Do SSC CGL has interview?
A: 

SSC CGL exam has no interview in the exam process. There are two tiers in the SSC CGL exam and the candidates need to appear and clear both tiers. After that, the document verification will be carried at the department of appointment. This reduced the time of the exam process and expedited the exam process.

Q:   Can I give SSC CGL exam in any steam after 12th complete.

You cannot apply after 12th as it is of graduation level.
