NIT Fee Structure: Most of the students aspiring to get admission to NITs have a common question regarding the fee structure of the institutes. NIT Council sets the fee structure of the NITs in India. Soon after JEE Main is over, the concerned institute releases the NIT fee structure for all the categories in the JoSAA portal. The fee structure has various components, among which tuition fees are the same across all the NITs. However, the components in the NIT fee structure may vary from one institute to the other.

Fee Benefits Offered by NITs - Category-wise
NITs in India also offer tuition-fee-related benefits to candidates across various categories. For economically backward students claiming waiver of tuition fees, candidates have to produce the Income Certificate of the family issued by the competent authority of the State Government every year afresh. In addition, candidates have to produce an affidavit on a Non-Judiciary Stamped paper of Rs. 100 as per the format provided in the Institute website, should be submitted along with the Income Certificate. NIT Cutoff for BTech Admission
The admission to the B.Tech courses is based on JEE Main and JoSAA counselling. JoSAA releases category-wise and round-wise opening and closing cut-offs/ranks for admissions to BTech and Dual degree programmes in the NITs. Candidates seeking admission into the NITs, have to appear in JoSAA cunselling. Admission to the BTech programmes offered at NITs is based on this single counselling platform. The NIT cutoff depends on the number of candidates appearing in the entrance exam, total candidates applied for admission in NITs, total available seats, and difficulty level of the examination. The JEE Main application form 2026 official website is jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 application form in the official website. Candidates can fill the form from the website. Details regarding JEE Main application fee, documents required to fill the form, how to apply and other important details related to application process can be checked on this Shiksha page.
JEE Main Registration 2026 session 1 is over. Session 2 registration will start in the last week of January 2026.
NIT Srinagar MBA fee is a sum of multiple components, including tuition fee, security deposit, hostel fee, mess fee, and more. These components are either one-time chargeable or have to be paid annually/semesterly. NIT Srinagar MBA total tuition fee is INR 4 lakh. The hostel fee is INR 1.15 lakh and one-time is of INR 16,500.
