UGC NET Date 2026: The NTA has released the Schedule for the June session UGC NET 2026 exam. The exam will start on June 22 and will end on June 30. The authority is expected to release the City Intimation Slip by June 10 and UGC NET admit card by June 15. The NTA UGC NET application correction dates were May 26 to May 28. The UGC NET application dates were April 29 to May 24. The notification PDF was released on April 29. The last date to make fee payment was May 24. The UGC NET exam will be conducted in two shifts on each day.

How To Apply For The UGC NET Exam?
Candiates can check below the methods to apply for the UGC NET June session exam.
- Visit at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- Register by using the basic details. Candidates should use their own email ID and mobile number linked with Aadhaar.
- Generate and enter the OTP. Note down the application number and password that will be displayed after the successful registration.
- Log in and fill in the personal details.
- Enter contact details, category, academic qualification, etc.
- Upload the photograph and signature as per the mentioned dimensions along with the other required documents in the prescribed format.
- Preview the form and pay the application fee and download the confirmation page.
UGC NET 2026 Exam Admit Card Date

The NTA will release the UGC NET hall ticket 2026 for the June session by June 15 as per the official notification. A call letter is mandatory which is required by a candidate to carry at the examination centre. Without it, an aspirant will not be able to sit in the exam. Candidates will be able to download the UGC NET admit card by following manner.
- Go to the ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the hall ticket link for the NTA UGC NET exam.
- Enter the details like application number, date of birth, etc. on the login page.
- Click on the submit button.
- The call letter will appear on the screen.
- Download and save it for later use.
UGC NET Shift Timings Details 2026
The UGC NET June exam 2026 will be conducted in two shifts. UGC NET Shift 1 will start from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm whereas the shift 2 exam will begin from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. However, the candidates must report to the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the gate closing time.

UGC NET result 2026 will be announced on the official website. Candidates can check their results using their application number and date of birth. The UGC NET exam for the December session was conducted from December 31, 2025 to January 7, 2026. The dates were released by the NTA at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The admit card was also released at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The UGC NET 2026 expected cutoff may fall within the range of 216 to 160 for all subjects and categories. The NTA will release the UGC NET 2026 June session cutoff marks after the declaration of the result. Candidates who will meet or exceed the cutoff marks will qualify for further recruitment process.
The authority will release the UGC NET certificate on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in and also on the e-certificate portal at ecertificate.nta.ac.in. Candidates can download it by using their login credentials including the application number and password or date of birth.
After clearing the UGC NET exam, candidates have lot of opportunities to give their best in the research perspective. They can become assistant professor, pursue lectureship or get JRF. They can start working on their Ph.D. They can also set up their laboratory and recruit people for work. They can also work in several laboratories including ICAR, DRDO, ICMR, etc. They can also become research scholar, and more.
The NTA opened the UGC NET 2026 Application correction window on May 26. The last date to make correction was May 28, 2026. The Registration process was closed on May 24.
