UGC NET Date 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to soon release the UGC NET Notification 2026 for the June session on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The notification or information bulletin will be released in the form of PDF. The UGC NET application form link will also be activated along with UGC NET notification. The notification consists of all the information related to the examination including important dates, application process, syllabus, pattern, eligibility, etc. 

UGC NET exam for the December session was held from December 31 to January 7. The result was declared on February 4. The notification was released on October 7. The NTA will release the UGC NET hall ticket 2026 for the June session exam few days before the examination date. A call letter is mandatory which is required by a candidate to carry at the examination centre. Without it, an aspirant will not be able to sit in the exam. Candidates will be able to download the UGC NET admit card by following manner.

UGC NET 2026 Shift Timings & Subject-Wise Schedule

The UGC NET June exam 2026 will be conducted in two shifts. UGC NET Shift 1 will start from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm whereas the shift 2 exam will begin from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. However, the candidates must report to the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the gate closing time.
