Candidates who have not applied or still have not appeared in MHT CET can participate in the counselling based on their JEE Main score. Those who do not have MHT CET or JEE Main score can also participate in counselling based on class 12 marks.

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell conducts the counselling in three or four rounds, depending upon the number of candidates participating in the counselling. The MHT CET CAP counselling 2025 had 4 rounds while in 2024, the counselling was conducted in 3 rounds.

The facility to raise objections is not provided for the final answer key. A certain number of seats are reserved under Home-State quota and All India quota. All India quota seats are filled on the basis of JEE Main scores while Home-State quota seats are filled on through MHT CET scores. With 97.5 percentile in MHT-CET, you have a strong chance to get admission in reputed colleges like PICT Pune, VIT Pune, SPIT Mumbai, or Thakur College of Engineering for branches such as IT, ECE, or Electrical. For the General HS category, the cutoff ranged from 4.33 to 20.54 percentile for M.Tech course specialisations. Therefore, students need to attain at least 4.33 percentile for admissions at COEP Pune. MHT CET M.Tech percentiles are required for admission to M.Tech courses at COEP, Pune.
