MHT CET Re-Test 2025: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced a re-test for students who appeared in the second session of MHT CET 2025 held on April 27, after identifying 21 erroneous questions in the paper. The State Cell has acknowledged a major lapse in the MHT CET exam, following student complaints that 21 out of 50 Mathematics questions in the April 27 session were flawed.
The errors reportedly arose during the translation of MHT CET 2025 questions from Marathi to English, leading to jumbled answer options. Several English-medium students who appeared for the exam on Sunday voiced their concerns on social media, highlighting the errors in the question paper.
Errors in MHT CET 2025 Mathematics Question Paper
Students across the state who appeared for the MHT CET PCM (Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics) paper on Sunday reported errors in the question paper, with many pointing out that over 20 questions in the Mathematics section lacked a correct answer among the four provided options.
After numerous emails from candidates and their parents, the Maharashtra CET Cell reviewed the disputed questions and subsequently decided to conduct a re-examination for the affected students. According to media reports, a total of 27,306 English-medium students appeared for Sundayβs MHT-CET (PCM) session, along with 3,473 Marathi-medium and 241 Urdu-medium candidates.

MHT CET 2025 Re-Test Admit Card
It has been stated in the official notice by CET Cell that the list of candidates who appeared for the April 27 session will be published on the official website of the State CET Cell. Only those listed will be eligible to appear for the Maharashtra CET re-exam. Also, the MHT CET 2025 admit cards for the re-test will be released through the candidates' login portals.
