UGC NET Notification 2026 OUT: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET Notification PDF 2026 on April 29 for the June session at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Along with the notification, the UGC NET application form link was also activated. The last date to apply was extended by the authority. Candidates could apply until May 24 instead of May 20. The last date for fee payment was May 24 (up to 11:50 PM). UGC NET Application Form 2026
Candidates need to fill out UGC NET application form in two parts registration and application. Some of important documents that candidates need to keep ready themselves before filling up UGC NET registration and application form include:
- ID card
- Board/university/qualifying degree certificate Category/PwD/EWS certificate (if applicable)
- Scanned images of photo and signature
UGC NET application fee 2026 is INR 1,150 for General category, INR 600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL category, and INR 325 for C/ST/PwD/Transgender category.
