UGC NET Results Likely to Release Today; Check Eligibility for JRF and Assistant Professorship

National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the UGC NET 2023 results today April 7, 2023. The candidates can check the eligibility criteria for the assistant professorship or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). 

UGC NET Results 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET final answer key on April 6, 2023, and is likely to release the UGC NET results on April 7, 2023. However, the board has not announced any official date for the UGC NET results, the candidates are advised to visit the official website @ugcnet.nta.nic.in for the latest updates.

In the scrutiny of the objections raised by the candidates against the released provisional answer key on March 23, 2023, nearly 85 questions were dropped from all the subjects. The UGC NET exam was held at 663 centres in 186 cities across the country for 8,34,537 candidates and the UGC NET exam was carried out between February 21 to March 15, 2023, in five phases.

• Click on the UGC NET results link 
• The page will be redirected to the UGC NET login page 
• Fill out the application number and date of birth 
• Click on the submit button 
• The UGC NET result will appear on the screen 
• Download the UGC NET results 2023 and save it for later use

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professorship and JRF

The eligibility criteria for the assistant professorship and Junior Research Fellowship have been given below for the candidates:

• The top 6 per cent of the candidates who will qualify for Paper 1 and Paper 2 individually will be selected to become eligible for UGC NET assistant professorship. 
• The top one per cent of the qualified candidates for assistant professorship will be awarded JRF
