MHT CET PCB Exam 2025: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra is set to begin the Maharashtra Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2025 for the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group tomorrow, April 9 for thousands of aspirants aiming to secure admission to undergraduate courses in pharmacy, agriculture, and related life sciences. The MHT CET PCB exam will be held till April 17, 2025. Candidates must note that MHT CET PCB exam will be held in two shifts. While appearing for the exam they must carry their MHT CET 2025 PCB admit card and any one photo identity proof for verification.

MHT CET 2025 PCB Exam Day Guidelines

Here’s a quick guide on what candidates should keep in mind before appearing for the exam:

  • Reporting Time: Candidates must report at least 90 minutes before the exam starts to allow for security checks and verification.
  • Admit Card & ID Proof: Carry a printed copy of MHT CET 2025 admit card. Also, bring a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, Driving License, or College ID).
  • Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, electronic gadgets, notes, and study materials are strictly not allowed.
  • Personal belongings should be left outside or at designated counters.
  • Dress Code: Candidates are advised to wear simple, comfortable clothing with no large buttons or accessories to avoid unnecessary scrutiny.

MHT CET PCB 2025 Exam Pattern Reminder

The PCB exam will consist of three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. There will be multiple-choice questions. The MHT CET 2025 PCB paper is based on the Maharashtra State Board Syllabus of Class 11 and 12. For the PCB group, the exam consists of a total of 200 questions, with 100 questions from Biology and 50 questions each from Physics and Chemistry. Also, there will be no negative marking.

As per the las t year schedule, MHT CET 2026 PCB exam date will fall in April 2nd week and the MHT CET 2026 PCM exam date will tentatively be in last week of April. The MHT CET admit card for PCM and PCB groups will be released tentatively in the first week of April. 

Q: Β  Are calculators allowed in MHT CET exam?
A:

Calculators are not allowed in the MHT CET exam. However, students are provided the virtual calculator during the exam which can be used to solving lengthy calculations. The virtual calculator is made available on the computer screen during the test and candidates can use it by clicking on the calculator link. Candidates are advised to practice solving numerical questions on their own as using virtual calculators can take much time.
