After having received over 1 crore applications, Railways needs a company that can manage to conduct recruitment exams for such a big number, as per a senior official.

RRB NTPC exam 2019, scheduled to take place between June and September last year, has been getting delayed for months. The delay in conducting the RRB NTPC exam 2019 has been attributed to the ongoing process of selecting a new exam conducting agency. As per information by a senior official, railways had floated the tender last month, however, another official said that the process will take time.

Another senior official said that the RRB NTPC exam dates are unlikely to release next month as they have not floated the tender yet. “We have received over one crore applications and hence require a company that can manage to conduct recruitment exams for such a big number,” he added.

As per media reports, the RRB NTPC exam is likely to take place in March this year. RRB will be soon issuing the RRB NTPC admit card for the students. The reports added that the RRB NTPC admit card will be released 4 days prior to the commencement of the examination. However, there is no official information regarding the RRB NTPC exam dates as of now. The students must visit the official website of the RRB regularly to check for such updates.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had invited applications for the recruitment of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) posts almost a year back. The Board had announced a total of 35,208 positions to be filled through the RRB NTPC exam which was scheduled to take place tentatively between June and September 2019. However, the schedule for RRB NTPC has not been released yet. RRB NTPC CBT 1 application process had commenced from March 1 and continued until March 31. As many as 1.26 crore applications were received by the Railway Recruitment Board for NTPC exam.
