UGC NET exam is held every year for determining the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/or Assistant Professor. The National Testing Agency (NTA) holds the UGC NET exam twice every year. The exam is conducted in two combined sessions for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Lakhs of candidates appear for the exam every year to obtain UGC NET E-certificates.
