Obtaining a BSc degree makes a candidate have a general background in some of the several branches of sciences including physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and computer science. These degrees are usually provided for disciplines like Applied Science, Life Science, Physical Science and Computing Science.
On the other hand, a BTech degree takes one into the specific undertaking of technology and engineering. This community of discourse comprises of areas such as Chemical Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.
BTech degrees prepares students to become professionals by imparting knowledge and specialising in certain areas required for the job markets in the various sectors. If on the other hand you are interested in fields under the umbrella of technology or engineering then a BTech would be better for you. However, if you are more interested in a wider scientific education a BSc would be more in tune with what you wanted.

Main entrance exmas for BTech courses in India are given below:
JEE Main: A national level examination through which students can get admission to most of the engineering institutions in India.
JEE Advanced: A very selective test through which students are allowed to take direct admission in the selected IITs and other B.Tech. colleges in India.
State-level entrance exams: Some of the states have their own entrance examinations for the students to get into the B.Tech course in the state colleges such as MHT CET, TS EAMCET, KCET, OJEEE, etc.
B Tech full form is Bachelor of Technology. The time needed to prepare for the BTech entrance exam cannot be said with any certainty, but it is better to start as early as possible so that you have enough time to go through the entire exam syllabus and can revise each section to increase your chances of getting an excellent score. You must start at least 6 to 8 months before the final exam date because the competition is too high, leading to skyrocketing cut-offs for admission.

BTech Biomedical Engineering course acts like a doorway for exciting career paths in a variety of industrial fields such as hospital and other healthcare settings, medical equipment manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, research and development, and academia etc. The overall career scope of the course is extremely remarkable and rewarding with endless opportunities for fresh BTech graduates.
The clear answer is no. An online BTech degree is not valid in India anymore. It is not approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) because of a variety of reasons. One important reason is zero practical exposure. Technical programs like BTech are meant for the professional world, which demands technical expertise and advanced skills that is not possible in the online mode. Secondly, there is no lab assistance possible in online BTech courses, making it less valuable than regular face-to-face BTech programs.
Since, the UGC also does not recognize an online degree, there are hardly any job opportunities for online BTech degree holders in government organizations. Further, private job providers as well as MNCs also do not give value to online BTech anymore.
As a fresher, a BTech graduate can earn an average of INR 25,000 - 30,000 per month. In other cases, the salary of a candidate depends upon the job profile, too. If you work as a Project Engineer, Design Mechanical Engineer you can earn an average of INR 4 - 8 LPA. Candidates can earn in the range of INR 7-12 LPA after gaining an experience of more than 4-6 years in companies. Professionals who work in the mid-entry level jobs have a greater chance of earning more salary. Many professionals also take up certification courses in order to expand their skills and knowledge and earn more salary.
