The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the September session exam on September 6, 2026. The CBSE first releases the CTET City Slip 2026 and then admit card. The CTET application dates were May 11 to June 10. The CBSE CTET exam is a mandatory eligibility criterion for aspirants who want to apply for teacher recruitment in central government schools, such as KVS and NVS, for Classes 1 to 8.

CTET 2026 Application Correction Link for Sep Session

CTET is an eligibility exam conducted at the national level. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is the conducting body of the CTET exam. The CTET exam is conducted every year to determine the eligibility of students who want to become teachers in Central Government Schools, such as KVS and NVS, among others. There are two papers in the CTET- Paper 1 and Paper 2.

The CTET Paper 1 is for students who want to teach Classes 1-5 (Primary Teachers), and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to teach Classes 6-8 (Elementary Teachers). Candidates who wish to teach Classes 1-8 need to take both papers. The CBSE CTET exam is conducted offline in pen-and-paper mode.

The CTET pre-admit card 2026 will be published on the official portal at ctet.nic.in. The pre-admit card informs candidates about the allotted CTET exam city. Check below the complete process to download it.

1. Visit at ctet.nic.in.
2. Click on the ‘View Centre City for CTET 2026’ link.
3. Enter the login details – application number and date of birth.
4. Check the allotted CTET exam centre city.
5. Download the CTET pre-admit card.

CTET 2026 Hall Ticket

The admit card will be issued a few days before the exam date by the CBSE on the official portal at ctet.nic.in. The hall ticket is important for a candidate to carry at the examination centre otherwise he or she will not be allowed to sit in the exam. Candidate should check it properly before downloading it. If any discrepancies occur in the call letter then it should be reported and addressed immediately. It is also important to follow the guidelines given in the hall ticket and follow it in the examination hall. Have a look at the call letter download process below:

4. Click on Submit

CTET Mock Test

The CTET exam is conducted offline in pen and paper mode. Candidates can practice the CBSE CTET mock test for Paper 1 and Paper 2 to ace their preparations. The CBSE CTET exam 2026 result for the September session will be released as a scorecard with the marks obtained by candidates in the exam. CTET Certificate 2026: Validity

 The CTET Certificate and Marksheet will be displayed on the Digilocker platform after the declaration of results shortly. The CTET certificate validity is for a lifetime. Only CTET-qualified candidates are awarded the eligibility certificates. Candidates qualifying the CTET exam can apply for teacher recruitment in Central schools or other schools accepting CTET scores at any point in time till they fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the respective recruiting agency or school. The CTET certificate is provided to candidates along with their marksheets on DigiLocker platform.
