On JEE Advanced 2026 result date, IIT Roorkee will only release details of candidates marks in each subject of paper 1 & 2, total marks, All India Rank (AIR), and the qualifying status. The facility of JEE Advanced 2026 Scorecard PDF download will be available at a later time.
The JEE Advanced 2026 toppers list will also be released with the results. Qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the JEE Advanced 2026 counselling for admissions to IITs. IIT Roorkee will activate JEE Advanced 2026 result link on the website jeeadv.ac.in. JEE Advanced result 2026 link will be provided on this page once the scores are announced. Candidates can check details about their marks and qualification status through the result. Candidates must meet the minimum passing marks in each subject: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; as well as the overall aggregate marks to qualify.
Only those candidates who attain the required JEE Advanced 2026 minimum marks will receive an All India Rank. Note that only candidates who appeared for BOTH Paper 1 and Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2026 will be considered for ranking. There will be no waiting list for ranking.

How to Download JEE Advanced 2026 Scorecard?

The exam result/ranks will be the basis of studentsâ admission to various IITs. Students can check how to download their JEE Advanced 2026 scorecard below:
- Visit the official website of JEE Advanced 2026.
- Enter your roll number, date of birth, and the 10-digit phone number that you used while registering for JEE (Advanced), and click on the 'Submit' button.
- JEE Advanced 2026 results will be shown on the screen.
- Go through your result carefully, download, save and take printouts for future use.
Students must keep safe their JEE Advanced 2026 scorecard safe until the completion of admission process as it will be required during JoSAA 2026 counselling.
JEE Advanced 2026 Cutoff Marks
JEE Advanced 2026 cutoff will be announced along with the results. A candidate is said to have qualified in JEE Advanced if he/she secure the minimum percentage of marks in each subject and aggregate, as per the respective category. The JEE Advanced cutoff marks vary each year. A candidate who qualifies in more than one category will be considered in all the categories to which he/she belong for ranking. Only those candidates who score the minimum prescribed percentage marks in each subject and also in aggregate will be included in the rank list. How is the JEE Advanced 2026 Result Prepared
JEE Advanced 2026 result is prepared based on the raw marks secured by the candidates in the exam. The marks are calculated based on the JEE Advanced marking scheme.
Marks calculation subject-wise: The marks obtained by a candidate in Physics in JEE Advanced 2026 will equal the marks in the Physics part of Paper 1 plus the marks in the Physics part of Paper 2. The same will be true for Maths and Chemistry.
Aggregate marks calculation: The aggregate marks obtained by a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2026 will be the sum of the marks awarded to the candidate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Marks obtained in Chemistry and Mathematics will be calculated in the same way. The aggregate marks of paper 1 and paper 2 will be added together to get the marks of the candidates out of 360.

JEE Advanced 2026 Rank List and Tie Breaking Policy
The All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Advanced 2026 is calculated based on the aggregate marks in JEE Advanced 2026 exam. The JEE Advanced 2026 AIR is prepared under All -India and category-wise. Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of candidates are made available through the JEE Advanced 2026 online portal after the results are declared. Text messages will also be sent to the candidates at their registered mobile numbers.
JEE Advanced 2026 Tie-Breaking Policy:
If the aggregate marks scored by two or more candidates are the same, then the following tie-break policy will be used for awarding ranks:
- Candidates having higher positive marks will be awarded a higher rank.Â
- If a tie exists, then a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in the subject of Mathematics.
- If this does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained more marks in the subject of Physics.
- If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.

JEE Advanced 2026 Counselling - JoSAA
Counselling: Jun ' 26
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2026 has been set up by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 114 institutes. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 33 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).
Candidates must note that mere qualifying in JEE Advanced 2026, filling in choices and/or participating in the joint seat allocation process does not guarantee a candidate admission to IITs. Admission will depend on merit and the availability of seats during various rounds of seat allocation, which will be done via the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2026.
JEE Advanced 2026 AAT - Architecture Admissions
The BArch program is available at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee only. Candidates desirous of joining the BArch (Architecture) program will have to pass the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). Only those candidates who have qualified in JEE Advanced 2026 are eligible to appear in AAT 2026. The results of the AAT will be declared on the JEE Advanced 2026 online portal. Admission to BArch courses is also done via JoSAA counselling.
