How to Check CTET Result 2026?
the CBSE conduct the CTET exam nationally to determine the eligibility of the teachers. It will be released online. The result will be released subject-wise consisting of the scores and qualifying status. Candidates need to use the methods here to check their CBSE CTET result 2026:

According to the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws, candidates need to qualify the CTET or TET exam to become eligible for teaching Classes 1 to 8 in the schools affiliated to the CBSE. After passing the CTET result, candidates can apply for teacher recruitment in the following types of schools:
- Schools affiliated under the Central Government- KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.
- Schools under the administrative control of Union Territories such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep.

CTET Certificate 2026: Validity
Soon after the declaration of the CTET result, the certificate is available for all the candidates who appeared for the exam. The CTET certificate 2026 is made available on the DigiLocker and Umang platforms. The CTET eligibility certificate 2026 is available for only those candidates who have been declared pass in the exam. Candidates can download their CTET certificate by logging into their DigiLocker account. Credentials to log in to the DigiLocker accounts are shared by CBSE on candidates' registered mobile numbers after the CTET results. The CTET certificate is now valid for a lifetime.

The CTET result is not released based on the provisional answer key. The CTET final answer key is the basis for result declaration. The CBSE announced the result based on the final corrected answers given by subject matter experts after analyzing the objections.
There are no fixed the highest marks in the CTET exam. The exam is of total 150 marks. Those who obtain over 120 marks are good scorers.
Qualifying CTET exam does not guarantee a job to a candidate. It is only one of the eligibility criteria for teacher appointment. Candidates need to appear for the recruitment process of schools such as KVS, NVS and others to get a teaching job. The school managements consider the CTET scores in the teacher recruitment process.
The CTET qualifying marks are different for different categories. General category candidates need to obtain a minimum of 60 per cent or above marks in the CTET 2025 exam in order to be considered as a CTET pass. The CTET passing marks for OBC/SC/ST category candidates are 55 per cent. Candidates scoring more than or equal to the qualifying marks are considered CTET qualified. Only those candidates are awarded the CTET Certificate those who secure the minimum qualifying marks. However, a higher CTET score is advantageous in the further teacher recruitment process.
The highest score in CTET is 150. The CTET 2024 exam is of 150 total marks. Getting the full 150 marks is considered as the highest score in the exam as there is no negative marking. However, to qualify for the CTET exam, a candidate belonging to General category needs to score a minimum of 60 per cent marks in the exam. Reserved category candidates such as, SC, ST & OBC need to obtain 55 per cent marks to clear the exam.
CTET scorecard is valid for a lifetime. Candidates who clear the exam are awarded the eligibility certificate. Candidates can apply for the teaching jobs in KVS, NVS, etc., using their certificates.
The CTET admit card is important to appear for the exam as well as to check the results. Candidates need to carry their admit cards to the exam centre. Candidates without the hall ticket are not allowed to take the exam. The admission card contains roll number, which is needed to check result.
