The Delhi School of Management at DTU started the new academic year with an orientation program for the MBA batch of 2024-2025. The event was attended by dignitaries from the corporate sector and distinguished faculty members from organisations such as IIT Delhi, FMS University of Delhi, TERI, GGSIPU, Jubilant Generics Ltd., Maruti Suzuki, Omnipresent, and StillAStory.
DTU Vice Chancellor Prof. Prateek Sharma spoke about the legacy of Delhi Technological University and its alumni. He encouraged students to draw inspiration from this legacy, assured them of the university’s support, and emphasised the importance of contributing to a developed India as socially responsible individuals.
Dr. Saurabh Aggarwal, Head of the Department, highlighted the importance of the MBA journey. He emphasised its role in intellectual growth, professional development, and building lifelong connections. The highlight of the event was the address by the Chief Guest, Mr. R.S. Kalsi, Executive Board Member of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. shared his journey and insights on driving profitable business growth and successful change initiatives.
The orientation also featured a dynamic panel discussion titled "Navigating the MBA Journey: Strategies for Success in a Technological Milieu." Eminent industry leaders and academicians shared invaluable insights on leveraging technology for business growth and career advancement. The discussion, moderated by Mr. Rajat Sharma, provided deep insights into navigating the MBA journey in today's technological landscape. Following the discussion, the panel was open for student queries, where they discussed the integration of AI and strategy.
