JoSAA 2022 Seat Allotment and Cutoff: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the JoSAA 2022 seat allotment round 2 on September 28, 2022. The conducting authority will also release the JoSAA 2022 cutoff today, September 28, 2022. JoSAA will firstly release the seat allocation result round 2 and then will announce the JoSAA cutoff 2022 round 2. Candidates who have registered for JoSAA 2022 counselling can check the JoSAA 2022 seat allotment result round 2 using their JEE Main/JEE Advanced application number and password. However, the candidates will not be required to use any credentials to check the JoSAA Cutoff 2022 for round 2.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority prepares the JoSAA 2022 seat allocation result based on ranks secured by candidates in JEE Main/JEE Advanced 2022, choice opted by them for programs and colleges, and availability of seats. Candidates who will be allotted seats during the JoSAA 2022 seat allotment round 2 will have Freeze and Float or Slide option. If candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat, they need to choose the freeze option, if not, they can opt either Float or Slide option.

JoSAA seat allotment result 2022 and JoSAA Cutoff 2022 for round 1 has already been announced on September 23, 2022. This year, JoSAA cutoff 2022 for round 1 is dropped significantly.

JoSAA 2022 Seat Allotment Round 2: How to check?

Candidates will be required to follow the below-mentioned directions to check the JoSAA 2022 seat allocation result:

  • Visit the official website of JoSAA - josaa.nic.in.
  • Click the link that reads “JoSAA seat allotment list 2022”. A new page will appear on the screen.
  • Enter the required login credentials such as JEE Main 2022/JEE Advanced 2022 application number and password.
  • Preview the details mentioned on the JoSAA 2022 seat allotment letter round 2.
  • Download the JoSAA 2022 seat allotment letter and take a printout of the same for future use.

Candidates who will be allotted seats during the JoSAA 2022 seat allotment round 2 will have to select the “Online Reporting” and complete the further process to confirm their admission.

JoSAA 2022 Cutoff Round 2: Steps to check opening and closing rank

To check the JoSAA Cutoff 2022 round 2, candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

  • Visit the official website – jossa.nic.in.
  • In the “eServices” section, click on the “OR-CR 2022” link.
  • Select, round, institute type, institute name, academic programme, and seat type/ category.
  • Click on submit.
  • JoSAA cutoff 2022 will appear on the screen.

Documents Required for JoSAA 2022 Counselling 

Candidates who will be allotted seats during the second round of JoSAA seat allocation 2022 will be required to complete the admission process. Such candidates need to produce the following documents for JoSAA 2022 Counselling:

  • Provisional JoSAA seat allotment letter 2022
  • Two Passport size photographs
  • Candidate Undertaking
  • Photo Identity Card (valid)
  • Original JEE Advanced Admit Card 2022
  • Proof of Seat Acceptance fee payment by e-challan or SBI Net banking
  • Date of Birth Proof (10th Standard Mark Sheet)
  • Class 12th (or equivalent) Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate
  • Medical Certificate
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Certificate for PwD (if applicable)
  • Passport (for foreign nationals) or OCI Certificate or PIO Card (if applicable)
  • DS Certificate (if applicable)
  • Registration cum Locked Choices for Seat Allotment

Documents Required for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs:

  • Provisional JoSAA seat allotment letter 2022
  • Three passport-size photographs similar to one uploaded in JEE Main 2022 application form
  • Candidate Undertaking
  • Proof of Seat Acceptance Fee Payment by e-challan or Internet Banking through SBI
  • JEE Main Score Card 2022
  • JEE Main Admit Card 2022
  • Class 10th Standard Mark Sheet or Date of Birth Proof
  • Class 12 (or equivalent) Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate
  • Valid photo Identity Card
  • Medical Certificate
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)
