JEE Advanced 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur conducted the JEE Advanced on May 18 and released the provisional answer key on May 26, 2025. While the official results are still a few days away, candidates can get an idea of their performance and even estimate their potential JEE Advanced 2025 rank by analysing the answer key. Calculate Raw Score
Before estimating JEE Advanced rank, they need to know their raw score. For that, they can follow these steps:
- Download the official JEE Advanced 2025 answer key
- Compare JEE Advanced responses (as per the response sheet) with the correct answers.
- Add or subtract marks according to the JEE Advanced marking scheme:
- Correct answer: +3 or +4 marks (depending on the section)
- Incorrect answer: −1 mark (if negative marking applies)
- Unattempted: 0 marks
Make sure they tally scores for both JEE Advanced Paper 1 and Paper 2, and sum them to get the total marks.

Factor in Objections and JEE Advanced 2025 Final Key
Keep in mind that the current JEE Advanced answer key is provisional. If candidates have raised valid objections, some answers may be revised before the final JEE Advanced answer key is released. This could affect the score slightly, either upward or downward. The objection window is open until today: May 27, 2025.
