IIT Kanpur has published the JEE Advanced 2025 information brochure in Hindi on its official portal, jeeadva.ac.in. Candidates can access and download this brochure to review critical exam details. The registration process for JEE Advanced 2025 is scheduled to commence on April 23, with the examination set to take place on May 18. An English version of the JEE Advanced 2025 brochure is also available, which includes comprehensive schedules and detailed eligibility criteria.
The JEE Advanced exam pattern consists of two papers: Paper 1 will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and Paper 2 will follow from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. It is essential for candidates seeking admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) to attempt both Paper 1 and Paper 2 to meet eligibility requirements. Registered candidates can download their JEE Advanced 2025 admit card during the window from May 11 to May 18.

JEE Advanced 2025 Important Highlights
- This year, the JEE Advanced application fee has been increased for exam centres outside India. Specifically, candidates selecting Abu Dhabi or Kathmandu as their exam centres will need to pay USD 150, while those from non-SAARC countries will be charged USD 250—an increase of USD 50 compared to last year. However, the application fee for exam centres within India remains unchanged.
- This year, there is an exception for the JEE Advanced candidates. Typically, candidates can attempt JEE Advanced twice and those who appeared in 2023 are not eligible. However, following a Supreme Court ruling on January 10, candidates who appeared in 2023 and dropped out of their course between November 5 and 18, 2024, are now eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2025.
JEE Advanced 2026 will be held in around 200+ cities in India and at a few foreign centres. The detailed list of JEE Advanced 2026 exam centres will be available at jeeadv.ac.in.
IIT Kanpur will conduct JEE Advanced 2025 exam in May 2025. The exam is conducted by any one of the 7 IITs namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee or Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, under the aegis of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). Each IIT gets chance to conduct JEE Advanced exam on rotation basis.
