JEE Advanced 2025 Registration Opens in 2 Days for Top 250,000+ JEE Main Qualifiers; Check Important Dates Here

The next stage towards IIT admissions is set to start from April 23 with the opening of the JEE Advanced 2025 registration window. Check all details below.
IIT Kanpur will conduct JEE Advanced 2025 on May 18. The official notification posted recently on the JEE Advanced 2025 official website, jeeadv.ac.in, reads "Online Registration for JEE (Advanced) 2025 for JEE (Main) 2025 Qualified Candidates will open on 23rd April, 2025 (10:00 IST) and close on 2nd May, 2025 (23:59 IST). The last date for fee payment of registered candidates is 5th May, 2025 (23:59 IST)."
The JEE Main 2025 result was announced on April 18. Candidates who have been declared qualified for JEE Advanced 2025 will have to register online for IIT JEE Advanced with their JEE Main 2025 application number and other details. NTA has announced the minimum percentile marks needed in JEE Main 2025 to be eligible for JEE Advanced via the JEE Main 2025 scorecard. This year, the cutoff has slightly lowered in all categories, except for SC, where the cutoff has gone up by 1%. The cutoff is: 93.1023262 for UR; 79.4313582 for OBC; 80.3830119 for EWS-ALL; 0.0079349 for UR-PWD, 61.1526933 for SC-ALL and 47.9026465 for ST-ALL.

The number of candidates from each category selected for JEE Advanced is given in the table below. The total number of candidates is slightly greater than 2,50,000 in the presence of “tied” ranks/scores in any category.

JEE Advanced 2025 Registrations from April 23
IIT Kanpur is set to open the online application process for the JEE Advanced exam on April 23 for Indian candidates. Meanwhile, candidates from other countries and those with Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) status can already register at jeeadv.ac.in. The application period is open to all candidates until May 2, 2025. Once candidates have completed their registration by the deadline, they can pay the application fee until May 5. The registration process will involve verifying identity using the JEE Main application number, name, and date of birth. After that, candidates will need to fill out the application form, upload necessary documents, pay the application fee online, and finally, download and print their registration confirmation.
