One Day to JEE Main 2025 Session 2: Analysing Competition Intensity for IIT JEE Advanced

The National Testing Agency is set to conduct the final session of the JEE Main 2025 exam starting tomorrow, April 2. This will be the last chance for students to take the JEE Main this year, and the results from this session will be crucial. They will determine which students qualify for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam, scheduled for May 18. Only the top 2,50,000 performers from the JEE Main will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025.

To select these top candidates, the National Testing Agency will establish a minimum score, known as the cutoff, for different categories of students. Last year, the JEE Main 2025 cutoff for JEE Advanced 2025 was the highest they had been in five years, reflecting the increased competition as more students take the JEE Main exam.

Experts believe that after the first session of JEE Main 2025, which took place in January, the JEE Main 2025 cutoff for this year’s JEE Advanced may be similar to or slightly lower than last year's. The official JEE Main 2024 cutoff percentiles will be released along with the results for this final session, which are expected to come out by April 17.

The April session of the JEE Main 2025 exam will take place on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9.
