JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 scheduled for April 4 clashes with the CBSE Class 12 Psychology paper. Students who have exams on April 4 have written to CBSE as well as NTA to consider postponement of exams as they can not appear on both the exams in a single day. The NTA and CBSE are yet to issue an official statement regarding the clash.

NTA JEE Mains 2025 April 4 exam clashes with CBSE Psychology paper

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently announced the exam dates for JEE Mains 2025 Session 2. As per the schedule NTA JEE Mains 2025 session 2 exam will be conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9. The CBSE Class 12 board exams, which began on February 15, 2025, are set to conclude on April 4, 2025. The Psychology paper, scheduled for April 4, coincides with one of the JEE Mains exam dates, creating a conflict for students. JEE Mains Session 2 admit card 2025 for all the registered candidates will be available soon for download.

The clash has caused significant stress among students who will be appearing in both exams. JEE Mains is a critical examination for engineering aspirants, determining their eligibility for admission to prestigious institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs). On the other hand, the CBSE board exam is a must-to-appear exam, which sets the eligibility for admission to undergraduate courses.

Students who have opted for Psychology as one of their subjects now face the challenge of managing their time and preparation effectively. The JEE Mains exam on April 4 will be held in two shifts: the first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The CBSE Psychology paper is scheduled from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, making it impossible for students to appear for both exams on the same day.

The clash of both these exams has led to an outpouring of concerns from students and parents. Many have taken to social media platforms to express their frustration and seek a resolution. Some students have even started online petitions, urging the NTA and CBSE to reconsider the exam schedules to avoid the clash.

A student from Allahabad who would be appearing for both exams, shared his concerns: "I have been preparing for JEE Mains for the past two years, and the CBSE board exams are equally important. This clash is causing a lot of anxiety, and I hope the authorities will soon find a solution."

Parents are also worried about the mental and emotional well-being of their children. "The pressure of preparing for two major exams is already high. This clash adds unnecessary stress. We request the authorities to address this issue promptly," said a concerned parent.
