JEE Main 2020 result for the September exam is likely to be announced today. Read on to know the process to check the JEE Main result.

JEE Main Result 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to declare the result of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main likely today on the official website. Candidate can check their result by visiting the website and logging into it.

JEE Main 2020 September exam, conducted from September 1-6, witnessed the registration of over 8.5 lakh students. Though the Ministry of Education had to face strong protests from students, parents and opposition leaders against conducting the exam. But the government did not pay heed to their requests. The exam was conducted with strict guidelines for the students and invigilators at the exam centres. Now, the NTA is likely to announce the JEE 2020 result today.

On Tuesday (September 8), the NTA had released the JEE Main 2020 answer key on the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. Students were required to login to the official website using their application number, password and date of birth to check the answer key.

How To Check And Download JEE Main Result 2020:

Step-1: Visit the official website— jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step-2: Click ‘JEE Mains 2020 results

Step-3: A new window will appear on the display screen

Step-4: Enter login credentials

Step-5: JEE Mains results will be displayed on the screen

Step-6: Download the JEE Main 2020 results and take a print out for future references.

Another important point here is that over a quarter of students failed to appear for the exam. As per the Education Ministry data, 1,14,563 of students dropped out from appearing in the exams in the first three days. Out of 8.58 lakh applicants, only 6.35 lakh appeared for the engineering test which was held from 1 to 6 September.
