INI CET Pattern: Explained

According to the pattern of INI CET 2025 pattern, the examination will be conducted in a computer-based mode. The examination will be held at digital centres where each candidate will be allotted a separate system to attempt the examination. They will be issued separate login IDs for the exam day. Candidates will be allowed to log in to their accounts five minutes before the examination begins. The total duration for INI CET 2025 July session exam will be 180 minutes. On completion of the time, candidates will have to submit their tests online.

Type of Questions:

Questions for INI CET 2025 will be objective type. This implies that each question will have four response options. Candidates don't need to write a descriptive type answer, instead, they will have to choose the correct response from the given options.

However, more than one response can be correct for a given question. Such questions will fall under multiple correct answer type questions. Candidates will be marked according to the responses marked by them.

Single correct answer type question

Bile helps in __________

a) Digestion of proteins

b) Breaking down of nucleic acids

c) Emulsification of fats

d) Phagocytosis

The answer to the above question is ‘emulsification of fats’, thus candidate has to mark ‘c’. No other option given above is correct. Such type of questions will be called 'single-best answer' type questions.

Multiple correct answer type question

Such questions will have responses like

(1) If a, b, c are correct

(2) If a and c are correct

(3) If b and d are correct

(4) If all four (a, b, c, & d) are correct

Candidates should read and understand the question thoroughly to be able to answer such questions. Since more than one given option will be correct here, such questions are called 'multiple correct answer' type questions. Candidates must note that, though the question may have more than one correct answer, there is only one correct response even for these questions. Candidates will ahve to mark only one response on the OMR sheet for such questions.

INI CET 2025 Marking Scheme

AIIMS Delhi will release the official marking scheme for INI CET 2025 July session. As per the existing marking scheme, candidates will be getting -1/3 negative mark for every wrong answer in the exam. Check the details of the INI CET marking scheme in the table below:
