According to the official authorities, Andhra Pradesh ECET paper will consist of four sections - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Paper. Q:   What is the duration of Andhra Pradesh ECET paper?
A: 

According to the official Andhra Pradesh ECET exam pattern, the duration of the entrance examination is 3 hours. Candidates will have to attempt 200 questions within the allotted duration. No extra time will be provided to the candidates to complete the entrance examination. There will be no specific allotted time for every section, however, the entire paper has to be completed within 3 hours. To ensure that the candidates are prepared to complete the examination on time, they are advised to work on their time management skills.

Q:   Will Andhra Pradesh ECET be held online?
A: 

Yes. Andhra Pradesh ECET will be held as a computer-based test for all registered and eligible candidates. The authorities will conduct the entrance examination at various centres. During the exam, the candidates will have to attempt 200 objective multiple-choice questions. The question paper will be prepared based on the topics of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and the selected engineering paper. Out of the given options, the candidates will have to select the correct one. 

Q:   What is the official Andhra Pradesh ECET marking scheme?
A: 

The authorities has released the official Andhra Pradesh ECET marking scheme online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET. As per the official marking scheme, one mark will be allotted to every correct response. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. It is to be noted that unattempted questions will not be negatively marked. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as they can to have a higher chance of securing their desired scores.

Q:   What are the sections in the Andhra Pradesh ECET paper?
A: 

There will be four sections in the Andhra Pradesh ECET paper. During the examination, the candidates will have to answer objective multiple-choice questions from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering paper. While the questions from Mathematics (50 questions), Physics (25 questions) and Chemistry (25 questions) will be common for all branches, the Engineering paper questions will be different for each course. A total of 100 questions have to be answered for the Engineering paper section.

Q:   What is the division of questions in the Andhra Pradesh ECET paper?

AP ECET question paper will be divided into four sections - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Paper. The candidates will have to answer 50 questions from Mathematics and 25 each from Physics and Chemistry sections. Meanwhile for the selected Engineering paper, the candidates will have to attempt 100 questions. The questions for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry section will be common for all branches. Andhra Pradesh ECET will consist of objective multiple-choice questions and the total duration of the examination is 3 hours.

Q:   What documents do I have to carry along with the Andhra Pradesh ECET admit card?

While reporting at the exam centre, the candidates are required to present their Andhra Pradesh ECET 2025 admit card. Along with the Andhra Pradesh ECET 2025 hall ticket, the candidates will also have to present their photo identity proof. The candidates can use any one government issued valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Passport, Student ID, etc. If the candidates are unable to present any of the documents, then they are not allowed to attempt the entrance examination.

Q:   Which items are prohibited in the Andhra Pradesh ECET exam centre?
A: 

While reporting at the Andhra Pradesh ECET exam centre, the certain items that the candidates will not be allowed to bring. No electronic items such as mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, laptops, etc., will be allowed inside the Andhra Pradesh ECET exam centre. Candidates are advised to check the Andhra Pradesh ECET exam day guidelines carefully before reporting to the examination centre. If any prohibited items are found with the candidates inside the centre, then it might be confiscated by the authorities. In case the candidates have carried any prohibited items, they are advised to leave it with their guardians or with the centre officials.

Q:   I forgot to print my Andhra Pradesh ECET admit card. Can I take a soft copy to the examination centre?
A: 

No. Candidates are required to print out and present a physical copy of their Andhra Pradesh ECET admit card at the examination centres. The authorities will not accept soft copies of the hall ticket for entry. Therefore, the candidates are advised to immediately download and print out a few copies of the Andhra Pradesh ECET 2025 hall ticket for the entrance examination. Candidates who forgot to print the admit card are advised to immediately print out a copy before arriving at the examination centre.
