What is the ideal time to start solving NEET mock tests?

According to NEET experts and toppers, the best time to start solving the NEET mock tests 2026 is when students complete at least 50 per cent of the syllabus. Solving NEET mock tests 2026 at this stage will also boost students' confidence because by this time you will be able to attempt 45 – 50 per cent of the question paper. At this stage, when there are less than four months left for the exam, NEET aspirants must have completed the NEET syllabus. Hence, it is time to start taking full-length NEET 2026 mock tests. 

Guidelines for Attempting NEET 2026 Mock Test

While solving the NTA NEET mock test 2026, candidates must follow the guidelines given below:

  • Solve the NEET mock test in a proctored environment
  • Attempt the test from 2 PM to 5 PM, without any breaks in between
  • Start with the easy subject first and gradually move to the tougher sections

What should be the frequency of solving NEET mock tests?

Beginners are advised to solve at least two NEET 2026 mock tests in a month. As the exam day approaches, start increasing the frequency. A month before the examination, the candidate must solve at least eight mock tests of NEET in a month.
