The Under-Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB), under the National Medical Commission (NMC), released the syllabus for NEET UG 2026 on December 23, 2025. The updated syllabus has been made available for students preparing for the NEET exam of the academic session 2026-2027. The NMC NEET syllabus 2026 has a total of 79 chapters, as per the latest syllabus of NEET 2026 PDF. The PDF covers all three sections- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The NEET Biology Syllabus is based on the NCERT books of Class 11 and Class 12. The Biology section forms the major part of the NEET question paper.
