Paper 1 has 75 questions where Physics Chemistry and Mathematics, each section has 25 questions. Out of 25 questions, 20 are MCQs and five are numerical value questions. You must answer all 5 numerical value-type questions. All 20 multiple-choice questions are compulsory. Complete all 75 questions in 3 hours.
As per the sequence of subject/section in JEE Main, Mathematics is the first section followed by Physics and Chemistry. However, students have the option of appearing questions from any section based on their preference. During the actual exam, students are provided the instructions on the computer screen to navigate between one section to other. Students also have the option to skip the next question without appearing the current as well as moving back to the previous question.
