CGBSE 12th Syllabus 2025-25: Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) released the CGBSE 12th syllabus 2025. The board released the CGBSE 12th syllabus 2025 online on its website at cgbse.nic.in. Like last year, the board is covering the 100% CGBSE 12th syllabus for the academic session 2025-25. The subject-wise CGBSE 12th syllabus PDF is provided below. Students can download the CGBSE 12th syllabus 2025-25 to plan their preparation for the upcoming board exam. The syllabus is provided for subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, etc. Before starting with their preparations, students should read the latest CG Board 12th syllabus 2025-25. Chhattisgarh Board Class 12 syllabus is divided into streams namely Science, Commerce and Arts. Aggregate marks for each subject are 100 in which the theory exam are of 75 marks and the Practical exam are of 25 marks.

CGBSE 12th Exam Pattern 2025-26

It is mandatory for students to have complete knowledge about the exam pattern in which they are going to appear. CGBSE 12th Exam comprises of 100 marks out of which 75% weightage is given to theory and 25% weightage is given for practicals. The duration of theory exam is 3 hours.

Q:   Are CGBSE 10th and 12th exams conducted twice a year?
A: 

Yes, the board will hold the CGBSE class 10 and 12 board exams twice a year. Till the year 2023, the board used to conduct the CGBSE board exams once a year in March month. From the year 2024, the board is conducting the board exams twice a year to give students chance to pass the exam twice. CGBSE class 10 and 12 main board exams are held in March. On the other hand, 2nd CGBSE Board exams are held in July/August.

Q:   What is the passing criteria in CGBSE 12th exam?
A: 

To pass the CGBSE 12th exam, students need to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. All the students need to pass both theory and practical exams. Students who are unable to secure minimum 33 aggregate marks in any subject will be marked Fail. Also, failing in up to two subjects will require the student to participate in the CGBSE class 12 supplementary exams. To avoid a situation like failing in CGBSE 10th exam, students must prepare well for the exam.
