TBSE 12th Exam Pattern 2026: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

The students preparing for the TBSE 12th exams must be aware of the marking scheme prescribed by the board and prepare for the exams accordingly. In TBSE class 12 exams, the marking scheme varies subject to subject depending on whichpaper have both practical and theory exams and which paper only has theory papers. For subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, social science, a total of 70 marks distributed in theory paper while 30 marks are alloted for practicals. On the other hand, subjects that have no practical exams have a total of 100 marks in theory paper exams.

The TBSE 12th Exam pattern is prescibed by the board in the form of TBSE 12th sample papers. Students must check it and prepare for the exams accordingly. Tripura Board HS exams are held in offline (pen and paper) mode. Every paper include 100 marks including both theretical and practical marks (if applicable). Total duration of each paper is 3 hours. Both objective and subjective type questions are asked in the exams.

Tripura Board offers all the subjects in TBSE class 12 streams. In science, the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics are offered, while Commerce stream includes papers like Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics. On the other hand, in Arts, students can opt History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, etc. Apart from these, the students can also opt elective and language subjects as per their choices.

Board exam candidates can work on work on their weak areas during the holidays. They are suggested to prepare and follow a short time goal while keeping time to relax and have fun. 

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) released the TBSE 12th exam routine 2026 on November 11, 2025 on its website. The exams will be held between February 27 and March 30, 2026.

The TBSE 12th date sheet 2026 was released on November 11, 2025 on the offcial website. The Tripura board 12th exams 2026 will be conducted between February 27 and March 30, 2026 in pen and paper format. 

Students appearing for the exams must download and complete their TS 12th syllabus 2025-26. They should also know the exam pattern well.
