BSEB 12th Arts Exam Pattern 2026: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

The Bihar Board will be conducting the examinations in February 2023. The BSEB marking scheme for Class 12 was revised last year. According to the marking scheme released, in case a candidate fails in a  compulsory subject BSEB Class 12 board exams, the marks obtained in the additional subject will be considered instead. The newly introduced change will enable students to appear for the exams to obtain an aggregate pass mark.
As per the revised BSEB 12^th Exam Pattern, the BSEB 12^th exams will have 50% multiple-choice questions, carrying 1 mark each. Subjects having both theory and practicals will only have 35 MCQ in the theory paper. The total exam duration is 3 hours and 15 minutes.
