BSEB 12th Exam Pattern 2025-26: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) prescribes the Bihar Board 12th exam pattern for students. The board prescribes the BSEB 12th exam pattern 2026 in the form of the BSEB 12th model paper 2026. Students preparing for the BSEB class 12 exams 2025 must be aware of the BSEB class 12 exam pattern 2026 and prepare for the exam accordingly. As per the previous year's BSEB 12th Exam Pattern, the BSEB 12th exams will have 50% multiple-choice questions, carrying 1 mark each. Subjects having both theory and practicals will only have 35 MCQs in the theory paper. The total exam duration is 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Students must be familiar with the BSEB Class 12 Syllabus 2025-26 before preparing for the examinations. They can also check the BSEB Class 12 Preparation to know the tips and tricks for better preparation of the BSEB Class 12 exams. The BSEB marking scheme was revised recently. According to the revised marking scheme released, in case a candidate fails a compulsory subject BSEB Class 12 board exams, the marks obtained in the additional subject will be considered instead. The newly introduced change will enable students to appear for the exams to obtain an aggregate pass mark.

In 2024, Ministry of Education (MoE) announced that Board exams will be organized twice in a year from the academic session 2025-26. MoE also stated that the exam will be held twice just to allow the students to retain the best score. As per the MoE, the exams will be based on the new curriculum which has been developed for the academic session 2023-24. However, the Bihar School Examination Board is yet to confirm that the BSEB Board exams for class 12 will also be held Twice a year.
