ISC Exam Pattern

ISC Class 12 exam pattern is such that it comprises the overall structure of the exam. Total marks allotted to each subject are 100. The marks distribution in Theory and internal assessment varies as per subject. English is the compulsory subject that carries 100 marks. Chemistry, Physics and Biology paper carries 70 marks for Theory and 30 marks for practical. A total of 80 marks is allotted to the Maths paper and 20 for the practical. The Commerce, Accounts, Economics and History carry 80 marks for Theory and 20 for practical. Geography paper carries 70 marks Theory paper and 30 for practical.

For ISC 12th, the checking is considered to be strict. However, it is said that the checking done by evaluators is lenient in comparison to the checking done by them in Class 9, 11 in their schools.
